About the role
Northamptonshire Safeguarding Adults Board (NSAB) is looking for a full time Business Support Officer to join the Business Office. The role will complement the existing team who provide a high level of service for NSAB and partner agencies.
The Safeguarding Adults Board structure consists of two Boards, one strategic, the other operational, and a number of Subgroups that drive activities to support the strategic plan. The Subgroups consist of Communication & Engagement, Learning & Development, Quality & Performance, and Safeguarding Adult Reviews.
To meet the needs of the priorities and key themes in the NSAB strategic plan, the Business Support Officer will provide essential support.

What will you be doing?
Business Support tasks will include: communicating with a wide range of colleagues via telephone and emails. Organising large scale meetings that include colleagues from local authorities, health and police, etc. The Business Support Officer will collate meeting papers, update action logs and plans, and take minutes at meetings. They will also provide essential activities such as ensuring documents are accessible for the NSAB website and support the uploading of website content. They will assist with the co-ordination of learning and engagement events, and finance related tasks such as raising purchase orders, as well as other important administrative tasks as necessary.
About you
This is a varied role in a fast paced environment. The ideal candidate will be highly organised, have a high level of attention to detail, demonstrate a willingness to learn, efficient in Microsoft Office, adept at developing excellent working relationships with colleagues, and will be a willing team player.
