Southfields Care home Rated GOOD by CQC provides exceptional levels of support to older persons living with Dementia, Physical disabilities or /and Sensory impairments.
Situated in a residential suburb in Northampton, offering a wonderful living environment in which residents can enjoy an enhanced quality of life.
What will you be doing?
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Manager to oversee the daily operations of the care home. As a regulated entity, we require the candidate to be registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and to have good knowledge in all relevant legislation and regulations. Your role will involve ensuring that the home provides high-quality care and support to residents.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and direction to the home’s staff team, fostering a culture of kindness, compassion, and empathy.
- Recruit, train, motivate, and retain a team of skilled care professionals dedicated to delivering person-centered care.
- Ensure the home complies with all regulatory requirements, including those set by the CQC, and maintains excellent standards of care and support.
- Manage the home’s budget.
- Build and sustain positive relationships with residents, families, and all stakeholders, addressing their needs and concerns effectively.
37 Hours per week
About you
With your previous experience in care leadership, and NVQ Level 5 qualification in Health & Social Care or willingness to undertake, you'll join our team in making a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve.
We will offer a comprehensive induction to the successful candidate.
This role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and therefore subject to an enhanced DBS certificate, at our cost.
