Catering Assistant (Longlands)

About the role

No late nights and every other weekend off!

As a Catering Assistant, you will support the Cook in the preparation of all food/meals for customers (and members of staff, where appropriate) in readiness for cooking or serving. You will also prepare the dining area for customers and assist in serving of food and drinks at mealtimes.

What will you be doing?

  • Assisting with maintaining storage procedures and stock rotation.
  • Ensuring that all areas, equipment and furniture are cleaned and stored correctly.
  • As part of the catering team, ensuring the kitchen and associated areas meet operational hygiene standards and comply with the company’s policies and procedures.
  • Liaising with the Cook, including dietitians regarding dietary and planned meals.
