About the role
This pivotal role supports the monthly Education payments cycle, ensuring smooth panel operations, accurate documentation, and timely payments. You’ll be central to maintaining financial compliance and supporting education providers with funding queries and processes.
What will you be doing?
- Coordinating monthly High Needs funding panel, including setup, documentation, and outcome communications.
- Providing specialist financial support to education providers, including funding calculations and payment processing.
- Managing financial records and forecasts for alternative provision placements.
- Handling complex funding queries with professionalism and sensitivity.
- Maintaining accurate data within our payment systems to support financial and management reporting.
- Using systems to raise purchase orders and process invoices.
- Enhancing productivity and data security through effective use of Office 365 and internal systems.
About you
Are you highly organised, detail-oriented, and passionate about supporting education funding processes? We have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Co-ordinator & Administrator to join our Education Payments Team on a 12-month maternity cover contract.
- Strong administrative and financial skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities
- Ability to communicate effectively and handle sensitive queries
- Experience with financial systems and Microsoft Office tools
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement
