Manual Handling Specialist Assessor

What will you be doing?

As a Manual Handling Assessor, your responsibilities will include:

• To be able to work with primarily customers with physically disabilities.
• Working alongside a team of occupational therapists and reablement support workers.
• To complete manual handling assessments and formulate manual handling plans and carry a caseload.
• Deliver training to providers. You will also receive training and development as part of this role.

About you

Requirements:

• A full driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
• A level or equivalent
• ROSPA Level 3, Manual Handling train the trainer.
• A good knowledge of working within health & social care, moving & handling plans and assessments as well as safe guarding and equal opportunities.

The council is in the process of implementing a new pay structure and terms and conditions which will be applicable to this role.  The outcome could result in a future variation to the advertised salary, and this will be discussed at interview.
