About the role
We are continuing with the growth of the Property Team with the addition of a Senior Property Lawyer to sit within the Place Legal team. If you have a significant level of technical knowledge and experience in Commercial Property Law, and you are motivated and ambitious, with a willingness to learn and develop further within this area of law we want to hear from you.
No two days in the Property Team are the same at West Northants. We have a large and diverse commercial property portfolio, together with our own housing stock, so you will have exposure to a broad range of commercial property work, including acquisitions and disposals of freehold and leasehold premises, landlord and tenant matters and development work linked to the Council’s on-going fast paced and dynamic regeneration programme for West Northants. There will also be the opportunity to mentor and support other members of the Property Team.
For more information please contact Katherine Hall Head of Legal (Place) on 07826 511563 for a confidential discussion.
What will you be doing?
If you are looking to develop your local government experience, change sector into local government or return to work after a career break, you won’t find a better , more supportive and encouraging place to do so.
Whilst local government experience is not essential, a passion for delivering an excellent legal service in a fast-paced environment and a desire to help shape and deliver an exemplar local authority legal service is.
We have mentoring, buddying, coaching, training and many other opportunities available to assist and develop you, to ensure your success in the role and your ongoing progression and success within the Council.
