About the role
We are a team of Business Analysts, Project Managers, and a Change and Engagement function; who support the Communities & Opportunities directorate with Transformational activity across the directorate and wider organisational collaboration initiatives.
We are at the centre of a major transformation programme, working with Services, Business Partners and other key stakeholders to shape the design and delivery of a major portfolio that spans the whole organisation.
We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and experienced Business Analyst to join our ambitious Transformation Team. This post will play a key role in supporting West Northamptonshire Council on its transformational journey, shaping the design and delivery of a major transformation portfolio that spans the whole of the Communities and Opportunities directorate.
What will you be doing?
This role spans the whole of the Communities and Opportunities directorate, which includes services such as Housing, Regeneration and Libraries.
You will be working on multiple projects alongside services to define business requirements, identify, develop and deliver improvements to systems and services through methodical investigation, analysis review and documentation.
About you
You will have a track record of delivering business change, working and building relationships with stakeholders, ensuring the best outcomes for our residents, partners and customers.
You will also need to demonstrate that you can use Business Analyst tools and techniques on concurrent pieces of work, in areas where you may have no subject matter expertise.
Ideally you will have formal qualifications in one or more of the following: Business Analysis / LEAN / Six Sigma. Formal training is available to support continuous development.

The council is in the process of implementing a new pay structure and terms and conditions which will be applicable to this role. The outcome could result in a future variation to the advertised salary, and this will be discussed at interview.
