About the role

This is an opportunity to join our LibraryPlus team, where you will use your customer-facing skills to deliver a wide range of services, including the provision of activities and services for communities, children, and their families, within library community spaces. Dealing with a variety of enquiries and tasks to include joining new borrowers, cash handling and local history enquiries, you will ensure that each customer has a positive experience in the library.
This role will require regular weekend working and candidates will need to be flexible to the business needs of the service, including the ability to travel to other locations as required. This post is part time, working 4 hours each Saturday between 10am - 2pm, and is based at Duston Library.
What will you be doing?
LibraryPlus offers a wide range of services; and you will assist customers with West Northants Council queries such as Blue Badge and concessionary bus pass applications, making this an ideal opportunity for an excellent communicator. Supporting, mentoring and coaching, you will promote and enable a diverse range of volunteering opportunities in the library and wider community.
