About the role
This is an influential, visible role for Adult Social Care for West Northants Council.
You will be a collaborative corporate team player reporting to the Executive Director for People (DASS).
For this role, the ability to manage complexity and relationships across multiple stakeholders will be key. Your relationship building and communication skills will ensure you are trusted across the business to deliver change that achieves the very best outcomes for our residents and future-proof our health and social care services.
You will support and enable our commitment to our strengths-based approach where our overall goal is to promote independence, health and well-being whilst keeping people safe.
You will further develop the improvements already made, and whilst your initial focus will be on ensuring the best and most effective service delivery, you will also have the opportunity to expand your experience in developing future strategy and models of delivery e.g., Social Care reform and ICS strategy.
You will have experience of successful management, service improvement and have a clear understanding of what ‘good’ looks like. You will be a great leader who has a high level of emotional intelligence and absolute determination to retain your focus on delivering desired outcomes.

The council is in the process of implementing a new pay structure and terms and conditions which will be applicable to this role. The outcome could result in a future variation to the advertised salary, and this will be discussed at interview.
