About the role
The Integrated Commissioning Team are responsible for monitoring and supporting the quality of Adult Social Care provision in West Northants. As part of this, the team are looking to expand our offer through the introduction of a International Recruitment Liaison Officer post to lead a project up to 31st March 2025.
As part of the Strategic Commissioning function, you will lead on Adult Social Care's approach to International Recruitment, working closely with colleagues in our Quality Improvement Team.
This role will provide you with opportunities to build professional working relationships with internal teams, partner agencies and our provider market and will allow you to use your knowledge, skills and experience in recruitment and human resources to develop our approach to robust International Recruitment.
What will you be doing?
The role holder will lead on the development, implementation and management of a programme of work in relation to International Recruitment in West Northants.
You will be required to:-
- Provide advice, guidance and training to Adult Social Care providers in relation to International Recruitment
- Undertake site visits and audits to ensure providers are fully compliant with legislative requirements
- Develop and implement WNC's support offer, ensuring this is embedded in practice beyond the life of the project
- Work with the market and regional teams to maximise recruitment opportunities for Displaced Talent
About you
We are looking for someone with an extensive HR background, who is highly motivated, to be able to lead a programme of work, using a project based approach.
You will be able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing, ensuring the message is tailored appropriately to the audience, including Senior Leadership, Adult Social Care providers and International Recruits.
You will need to have an adaptable approach to working, thrive in a busy environment and be able to work on your own initiative, in order to drive the project forward.
You will have excellent IT and administrative skills including experience of using Office 365, MS Teams, as well as a good attention to detail. You will have an adaptive nature to use multiple systems effectively.
You will also have excellent organisational skills and be able to prioritise your workload to meet deadlines and project objectives.
